Working Principle

The ND:YAG laser emits specific wavelength light with high energy, which is absorbed by the pigment and breaks it into particles, further fragmenting them into very small pieces. Some parts will be ejected from the skin, while others will break down even further into minute particles, which will eventually be engulfed by phagocytes and eliminated by the lymphatic system.
